When building your home art space having the right supplies is key. We have found that with the right supplies our kids are more engaged. Recently we have been home a lot and inside. Art projects have been a daily activity. We thought it would be nice to share the supplies that our kids have liked the best. We hope you enjoy. (Some of these are affiliate links. We appreciate all your support!)
01 Dot Markers
Easy for kids to hold, washable and last a long time. Dauber Dawgs are the best in the dot marker category.
02 36 Watercolor Paint Set
More than a rainbow of colors. 36 colors to play with.
03 Faber-Castell Watercolor Paper Pad
We found watercolor paper is best when using watercolor paints. Less mess and it perseveres those precious pieces of artwork.
04 OOLY: Fresh Pick Scented Neon Gel Crayon Highlighters
Twistable colorful gel crayons in fun neon colors and they smell great too. Scents include strawberry, banana, green apple, blueberry and grape. Also you can add water with a paintbrush for a watercolor effect. We love everything from OOLY.
05 Mini Hot Melt Glue Gun
We use the hot glue gun weekly. Great for gluing cardboard sculptures to colleges. A must have in any art space. Parent supervision recommended.
06 Sharpie Retractable Highlighters
If you hate losing pen tops like I do. These are for you.
07 HEY CLAY : Colorful Kids Modeling Air-Dry Clay
Let their inner sculptor bloom with air drying modeling clay. Easy to use and fun.
08 Crayola SuperTips Washable Markers 80
No art space is complete without a lot of markers! They wash off really well too.
